Large numbers of workers will be displaced by automation. To minimize the suffering associated with displacement, cities can equip workers with skill sets that will be in-demand in the future and enhance individuals' ability to work in jobs with low probabilities of being automated. To aid this process, this report identifies growing American occupations, their susceptibility to automation, and the skills needed to perform these jobs successfully.
