Fragmentation in Workforce Development and Efforts to Coordinate Regional Workforce Development Systems

This report examines workforce development trends in the Atlanta metropolitan area and recommends enhancing collaborative efforts to improve workforce education, aligning workforce development with current sector-based employment trends, and supporting individuals with barriers to employment. It also highlights organizations that have established successful workforce development programs, and notes that many of these entities provide helpful online portals for workforce resources.
